VSP Softphone Review
VSP Softphone is a SIP softphone designed explicitly for the VSP voice platform. It is available on Android and requires an administrator generated account for login. Without an account given by your company, operator or VSP, you cannot use the softphone client. The app falls under the Social & Communication category and is free to use.
The softphone client has been designed to redirect emergency calls to the Native Cellular dialer on a best reasonable commercial efforts basis. However, this functionality is subject to change at any time and depends on the operating system of the mobile phone, which is outside of VSP's control. Therefore, VSP does not recommend using this product for placing, carrying, or supporting emergency calls. If you use VSP as your default dialer, it may interfere with dialing emergency services.
